Halloween Tricks and Treats! The Harvest Season is upon us in The Woodlands and Spring!

Who doesn’t enjoy a good Harvest Festival, the smell of all things Fall, carving a Jack-O-Lantern or two, and Halloween with ghosts and goblins tapping at your door? Zoo Boo 2015 at The Houston Zoo |Houston

We’re inviting all little ghouls and goblins to celebrate Halloween at the Houston Zoo with activities that are fun for the entire family. We encourage all kids to come dressed in their spookiest or prettiest Halloween costume, and don’t forget the trick-or-treat bags!

Hocus Pocus Pops! | The Woodlands

October 23, 2015 – The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion! Houston Symphony conductor Robert Franz mesmerizes the audience into a nightmarish performance of horrifying horns, bewitching bassoons, and chilling cellos.

Train rides aboard the Great Pumpkin Express begin at 5:30 in the Gold Lot. Haunting the plazas before dusk are pre-concert activities, starting when the gates open at 6:00 PM.

Tickets for the orchestra seating (sections 101, 102, 103 and the pit) are only $20, with all other seats, and the lawn, free of charge. As always, plenty of free parking is available.

A Haunting at Bear Branch Park | The Woodlands

Come out to the Recreation Center at Bear Branch Park and experience the Forest of Phobias for yourself – where your worst fears come to life!

Recommended for ages 9 and older, parental discretion is advised. FEE: $8 per person. Ticket sales stop at 9:30 PM.

Wicked Wonderland Family Carnival | The Woodlands

Enjoy spooky games and yummy treats at the Wicked Wonderland Family Carnival. Don’t forget your costume – or your cameral! Free entertainment activities include: live entertainment and (limited) trick-or-treat stations. Plus, at 8:00 PM, stick around for a family friendly Halloween movie – Hotel Transylvania!

Also available with ticket purchases* are giant inflatables and moon walks, carnival games, concessions, and much more! Bring a camera!

The Wicked Wonderland Family Carnival will be held Friday, October 16 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, at Rob Fleming Park in the Village of Creekside Park. *Prices vary for activities that require tickets.

This event hosted by The Woodlands Township Parks & Recreation Department. In the event of inclement weather, the Carnival will be held at The Woodlands Recreation Center, 5310 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands 77381. Trick or Treat Trail | The Woodlands

A FREE event for all ages; Trick or treat at Town Green Park for festive fun and special treats! This free event will have fun for the entire family and attendees are encouraged to dress in their Halloween best. While at the Trick or Treat Trail, kids will have the opportunity to trick or treat from booth to booth and fill their bags with goodies from dozens of local vendors.

Plus, the event includes children’s activities, strolling entertainment, inflatables and costume contests. This festive event is expected to draw over a thousand attendees and is produced by The Woodlands CVB and The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department. The Trick or Treat Trail will be held Sunday, October 25 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM.

Cosplayers! Comic Fans! Gamers! Anime and Manga Lovers! Come to the Library and be a part of something special! The South Regional Branch Library in The Woodlands (across from HEB at Market Street) is hosting its first ever Halloween Mini-Con on Saturday, October 31.trick or treat

The event will include a Cosplay Runway, a performance by Thunderstudies Taiko Drummers, gaming, miniature painting, as well as various demonstrations and panels. The event is geared toward adults and teens, but supervised children are welcome. Costumes are encouraged, but must be kept family-friendly. No prop guns or blasters allowed; lightsabers are fine.
